Team Viewer Authentication Password

I am trying to connect to my work computer which is up and running. When i click on the icon to open teamviewer. I receive a message that states that. The password you have entered is invaild, please try again. Which password is Teamviewer looking for? I have never had to enter a password twice. I have tried using the same password that i use to log in and it still doesn't work.

You have two main types of passwords that need to be distinguished.

The TeamViewer account password

The TeamViewer device password for unattended access

This fixed password is asked when you connect to a device. The password has to be saved in the TeamViewer options on the remote computer. You will find all the information you need regarding this topic in our Knowledge Base article here: Password for unattended access
