With the update to Version: 15.25.5 (5ceca702ecc for mac), I am now unable to control the cursor position from either of my IOS devices. Careful examination shows that the cursor position shown on the IOS devices does not match the cursor position on my mac. If I enable "show cursor" I will see two cursors on the screen that are off by about 4 inches on the screen) I am using a three monitor system, and up till now have had no problem with operation and previous versions.

Running Teamviewer 15.25.1716CL on my iphone and ipad.

Hello, I had same issue. Remote from mac Monteray (M1 chip) to Big Sur (Intel). Both are newest teamviewer version. I didn't see this issue before update

From the given information, I could confirm that your case is related to this thread: cursor position is incorrect when using latest new version.

Since @JeanK has introduced 2 workaround methods on the thread, I'll quote them to you right away😉

In the meantime, we can offer you two workarounds:

1) If you need to keep using multiple displays, make sure the primary display (the one that has the Dock) is arranged as the left-most display in System Preferences > Displays. If more than 2 displays are being used, the order of the 2nd, 3rd, etc. displays may also need to be changed if the mouse position is wrong there.

2) Only have one display connected to the remote Mac.

Hello Everyone,

I am using commercial version of team viewer. When I use teamviewer to connect from my IPAD PRO to Windows 10 PC then the shift, arrow and misc keys in the bluetooth keyboard stop working.

Only the number and alphabet keys work. I do not remember this issue earlier. My teamviewer is 15.x in windows pc and latest app in ipad. Other wise in other apps in ipad the keyboard works fine. In RDC also keys such as arrow keys work okay.

Please advice what to do.

I have a Mac Mini with dual monitors I am removing into from an iMac. All was working fine. I could remote in using password and login, control keyboard and mouse, do everything.

Something is now preventing me from using the mouse. I can use the keyboard as input, for example to log in, or ope into a text box if the cursor is positioned there.I have uninstalled and re-installed multiple times. I have checked the accessibility settings in Mac OS, Team Viewer itself in Help -> Check system Access shows all permissions allowed.

Any Ideas?

I wanted to inform you all that our dev team is currently working on a solution.

In the meantime, we can offer you two workarounds:

I can verify that v15.26.4 is working correctly now on a multi-screen Mac when viewed from an iPhone, for example. Thanks for the fix!

I can also verify working correctly now. Also responsiveness to clicking when in mouse rather than touch mode seems much improved compared to previous versions. Tested on iPad Pro.

15.26.4 did NOT fix this for me. I updated both client and server, still getting "stuck" left-click mouse where a click turns into a drag. This is a huge annoyance as I have to follow every click with a ESC keypress. Please fix this !!

Have the same issue. Remoting from Windows device to iMac after upgrade to MacOS Monteray. Cursor position on remote screen is incorrect and unusable. Was fine on previous version of MacOS.

My iPad just upgraded and the Teamviewer settings have gotten worse. Specifically, in order to get the keyboard attached to my iPad to work, I have to tap the keyboard key and reduce it so the one on screen doesn't show. It's about 5 extra steps just to be able to type when I'm logged into Teamviewer.

Additionally, they got rid of the ability to quickly adjust display settings. My desktop has a 34" widescreen which doesn't fit well on the iPad screen so I previously would quickly adjust it to a more legible display setting. Is anybody else having this problem?

I can see the mouse moving on the far right hand corner of the screen, But its not going where it is pointed on the remote computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, with the same issues.

This is a known issue with 15.25.x.... I can confirm a current workaround is installing 15.24.x overtop the current install and NOT updating again until a new version is released.

For me I had to downgrade to version 15.24.5 ( Mac ). fixed the issue until TV fixes lates version. No way I'm gonna re-arrange my monitors.

Reporting the same issue with client version 15.25.x (and I think it's only with M1 Macs) with multiple external displays. Users report seeing my remote mouse stuck in the lower right corner of the screen. If the user disconnects the external monitors I can control properly.

I'm having the same issue. Even if I put the primary display on the left most in the display arrangement, the cursor position is still off. I had to select mirror all my displays to have the cursor back to its correct position.

I'm running on Mac OS 10.15.7 and Teamvciewer 15.25.5.

Hello, now facing same issue, making TeamViewer unusable. I remote in from a new MacBook 16 M1Max running Monterrey to a Mac Pro running Big Sur. The Big Sur Mac Pro has 3 monitors.

Now, when connecting, I can have the computers side by side, and it's obvious Team Viewer can't tell which monitor is which. On the TeamViewer remote it shows I'm working on one monitor (cursor moving on monitor 2), but watching the actual computer, cursor is moving on monitor 1, and so on.

Changing active displays doesn't work.

I've had this same setup for 2 years now (always connecting from a mobile laptop to the home computer that has always had 3 displays), with no issues... but now can't control - not sure if it's the upgrade to Big Sur on the Mac Pro or if it's the new laptop running Monterrey that is causing the issue.

What is the ETR from TeamViewer? A fix is badly needed as the app is unusable in it's current state.

Add me to the list of users with this issue. I cannot use the pointer remotely with 15.25.5 on a mac with an external monitor. If I use Apple's "Screen Sharing.app" to see what is happening, I can watch the mouse move in a different place to what teamviewer is showing. If I use that view, I can reach and control some parts of what is on the remote display. That's just info for debugging, not a workaround since I can only get to a fraction of the display that way. But it means that the issue is with the coordinate interpretation between the remote and local display windows. Tracking and button pressing work, they just aren't happening in the correct places.

The workaround for me now is to us "Screen Sharing.app". It requires a remote person to "accept" the connection, but that's better than driving 6 hours... One more edit -- if I "view" both displays in teamviewer, I can see and mouse enough to "accept" a screen-share without having an attendant.

Has this been resolved yet? I'm logging in remotely to a Mac from my home PC. Previously it worked perfectly fine, but now it is 100% unusable because the actual cursor position is half the height of the screen lower than where the mouse appears to be. It is literally impossible to control anything remotely like this.

How was this not resolved within 24 hours of receiving the first forum post?!?!

Not sure if related but on latest version on iPad I am finding that the mouse pointer is frustratingly a little off, I have to position is a tiny bit to the right of what I am tying to click.. making it very difficult to use!
