Unattended access, password requirement
Hi,
I was trying to setup a personal password on a PC with TeamViewer Host 15.
We would previously setup all PCs in our network with the same password and TeamViewer Host 11. With TeamViewer 15 Host this is no longer possible since the password is deemed "Too Weak"
Since the PCs are only reachable in a private local network we are not concerned about using a weak password. Is there any way we can disable the password requirements so that we can continue to use the same password we used before?

Hello @BobbyTables123,
Unfortunately, the password requirements have been enforced on all levels.
It is not possible to disable them and the password will have to be updated to the new requirements.
I hope this could answer your question...😊
All the best,

Is there a crack or registry fix for this? I really want my Unnatended Acces to be 1234

There is a workaround:
- Install a previous TeamViewer version where there are no password requirements
- Set the password
- Install a newer version of TeamViewer
This is a bit annoying but at least it works.

These password requirements are a bit excessive wouldn't you say? I get the importance of being more secure, but just created a randomized 15 character password, and still said it was too weak. We utilize Teamviewer very heavily to support our users, and this is making it very very difficult to have some fluidity in being able to conduct that support.

Hello @JSHVAC,
I totally understand where you are coming from.
Connecting via random password is designed for spontaneous connections.
If you are supporting users/customer, the best way to connect to them is to connect via service queue using the QuickSupport module.
With this method, you don't have to enter any password and can connect to your customers securely.
You'll find more info about this here: QuickSupport
I hope you'll find this method interesting. Let me know if you have any question on how to set it up. 🙌

Well I guess TeamViewer is no longer interested in providing a service that it's customers actually want.
Instead you are forcing idiot features on us.

In fact, you have a strong password.
It's just that the regular expression used to check passwords doesn't like repetition.
Example:
!1Qq@2Ww - Strong
!Qq@Ww12 - Not strong 🤣
qjuSQQuDJqHnWHe - Strong 🤣🤣
You just encourage people to store their passwords in passwords.txt

This is exactly what I had to do.
Teamviewer: I agree with making strong passwords default BUT, more so personal use, if a user wants to use a weak password, give him the **bleep** option to
