Can't dismiss an Ad!
Suddenly I can't dismiss the ad that appears when you open Teamviewer. See screenshot. Restarting Teamviewer didn't help. WTH?
What can I do?

It's now the day after the advertised 1 day special 30% off offer and I still had the pop-up that can't be closed. So I rebooted my laptop and then restarted TeamViewer and the pop-up is now gone. Seems fixed for now but hope that this doesn't happen again. From other posts, sounds like this has occurred a number of times in the past when an upgrade offer pop-up has been pushed.

Me too! I can only get it if i restart & sign in and connect quickly, then if I lose connection start over.

Same issue here. This is on a remote PC, we aren't able to get rid of this add and access the computer. Comment for visibility!!!

The upgrade offer ad changed today to Hi I'm Friday but doesn't have an X to exit it and I'm stuck not being able to use TeamViewer.

I created a new post about this same issue but it looks like it showed up here. Anyway, same problem on a Windows laptop remote. Looks a similar issue to this arose in the past but no mention of solution. I'm hoping that after the 1 day special, it'll resolve but in the meantime, I'm sol.

And if I hit Learn more, it goes to an error 404. Someone in web design is not getting their Christmas bonus this year. I'm running the free account version so have no access to support.

Meanwhile, for users who are having issues establishing remote connections, please try restaying TeamViewer service or use the web app (https://web.teamviewer.com/) for outgoing connections, and create a session link to share with remote users to see if this helps.

Have the same issue, cannot dismiss the ad and also, it does not show the last online stamp of the remote computer anymore

How do you remove this ad?
The is no 'X' close option - I can only click on 'Learn more' or 'View the offer'

I didn't mark anything.
Akiho responded saying they will look into it, but that's no answer.
It makes the program unusable.

Yeah clicking everywhere including where the x is supposed to be, does nothing.

Suggestion to restart doesn't resolve nor does using the web app to create a session as I'm trying to connect to an unattended host or remote that can't accept or initiate a session.

I don't know if it's temporary or specific to my timezone but I think now that the X white button re-appeared again. I managed to use Teamviewer today.
