Thanks for your reply @RayLee ! After doing the update, did you try clearing the cache and restarting the TeamViewer remote app? If yes, and the issue persisted, could you confirm to us the TeamViewer remote app version, the OS version, and the mobile device manufacturer that you're using? We would like to check your case internally with the support teams. Best, Carol
The issue of mobile sign-on incompatibility remains unresolved as of October 10, 2025.
After account authentication, the TeamViewer app does not open.
The issue is that when the account is linked to Google, the TeamViewer link doesn't work.
Accounts not linked to Google can log in. There is no option to remove Google sign-on, which effectively ruins the accounts linked to a Google account.
I am having the same issue on Samsung S23 Ultra. Only thing that works is by using the web browser remote desktop.
I am using teamviewer since last 2 year and never faced this issue, i recentlswitched to a new device (samsung s24 fe smart phone an android device ) and downloaddownloaded teamviewer in it but when I try to login I get stuck at a browser window showing "launching teamviewer allow your browser to open the app" and there is an option "app not launching?" And a highlighted option "open teamviewer" but that's not also working so any anyone can please help me out of this mess ?
Here is a screenshot attached with it if anyone want to see.
please help me.
I tried everything I could think of, nothing works, waiting for a solution
I had the same problem😔, my device was Xiaomi.
I have the same issue of being stuck on the launch app screen.
Tried everything in the thread.
S25 running OneUi 8
This issue is still present. When will it be fixed?
after I login to google it says launching teamviewer and just stays there. The open app button doesn’t do anything. I have tried with cellular and Wi-Fi. I have restarted my phone, cleared cookies, reinstalled the app, turned on all permissions including storage. I have tried copying the url to multiple browsers and incognito mode and still gets stuck on the same page. Is there anything else i can try besides using teamviewer through a browser instead of the app?
Same, android phone also
Samsung S22Ultra, Android version 15, One UI version 7.0, Teamviewer 15.69.835 CL

I'm having the same issue and can't log in. I've even rebooted my phone, but it's the same. I want to use it, but I can't find a way. Thank goodness I tried it first without paying.
Experiencing same issue on android. Can't you simply rollback to a working version and fire the testing department that always fail at their job?
Any update regarding this issue? The link now says "app not launching? open teamviewer" instead of "use teamviewer in your browser" but it is unclickable and the app is still unusable.
Hello TeamViewer Support,
Since updating to version 15.69.835 of the TeamViewer mobile app, I have been unable to log in correctly. After entering my credentials in the browser popup, the app does not return from the browser and instead shows the message: "Allow the browser to open the application."
I have already:
Unfortunately, the issue still persists. It seems related to the new login redirection (OAuth) method.
Could you please advise if this is a known bug, and if a fix or hotfix is planned? Any workaround would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
As per several others in this thread, "Everytime i try to log-in on Android, it redirects me to an embedded browser. Where after I log-in I get the launching Teamviewer screen, which seems to think I'm on a computer and doesn't reopen/return to the Android app, which means I can't log-in."
"…reinstalled several times, used browsers including Google Chrome, Internet, Firefox."
To be clear, I have personally tried three different browsers, reinstalled TeamViewer, and power cycled my phone. It is clear to me and others that this issue is a TeamViewer issue, not a device or browser issue.
"From what I'm understanding, the website login redirect has an issue since this affects different devices at the same time, or something between its interaction to the app." If this issue could somehow be sent up the chain to technicians, it would be appreciated, since TeamViewer is rendered inoperable because of it for those of us who have found this thread and likely many others who have not.
Hi, I just downloaded TeamViewer on my android phone. When I pressed "Sign in", TeamViewer's screen just went white. Any help?
After updating the TeamViewer application, I cannot access my user account. I access my account by following these steps:
Please help me with logging in to my account via the mobile application.
Hi @Execlectic, Thanks for the details provided!
Could you confirm with me if the issue persists after rebooting your mobile device? I would also appreciate it if you could test cleaning the cache/cookies of Chrome and trying again.
I'm still investigating this issue internally since I could not reproduce it, so the more details, the better!
I'm looking forward to your reply. Best, Carol
Oppo A60 using latest version from Google Play, reinstalled several times, used browsers including Google Chrome, Internet, Firefox.
Like others, before 5th September, the login works somewhat fine, but it started becoming a problem for a whole lot of us at the same time.
From what I'm understanding, the website login redirect has an issue since this affects different devices at the same time, or something between its interaction to the app.
Same issue.
Galaxy S24+, Android 15. Chrome, latest version. TeamViewer latest version.
Hi @VinnyWinny, Thanks for your post with additional details!
Could you also tell us the Android version, the manufacturer, the browser you're using as default, and the TeamViewer Remote app version you have installed? Please, make sure your device manufacturer is supported: https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/global/support/knowledge-base/teamviewer-classic/mobile/android/supported-manufacturers-for-remotely-controlling-android-devices/
Also, please know that during the app login, TeamViewer will open your browser to validate the account via Two factor authentication or email validation. It's important to set your default browser to launch the app, so after the validation, it can direct you back to the app (the pop-up for permission usually comes when you install the app).
I'm looking forward to your reply to best assist you all with this issue. Best, Carol
I'm encountering the same problem, creating a situation where Teamviewer can't be used. Everytime i try to log-in on Android, it redirects me to an embedded browser. Where after I log-in I get the launching Teamviewer screen, which seems to think I'm on a computer and doesn't reopen/return to the Android app, which means I can't log-in.
exactly what I'm experiencing rn
Same thing happened to me starting from 5th September as well. Just could not get pass the launching team viewer while using the team viewer remote app.
Similarly, this has just become a problem to me today.
When trying to sign in through the android app, the redirect keeps assuming you are on a browser, and is asking to launch the desktop app, meaning, you're locked out from logging in Teamviewer through android at all. And for confirmation, that screenshot above IS THE TEAMVIEWER app, it's not the main browser. No one's trying to use teamviewer on the browser.
There were some reddit posts about this same problem 6 months ago.
Hi @solicitation69, Thanks for your question and welcome to our Community!
For mobile devices, you will need to use the TeamViewer Android/iOS app—our web app does not work in mobile browsers. You can find the mobile apps for download here: Android / iOS
Do you wish to use your mobile device to receive or start the remote session?
I'm looking forward to your reply to better assist you. Best, Carol
Clicking login doesn't give me the options to input my password like before and leads straight to this page.

Hello, I can't log into my account on my phone. When I try to log in, for some reason it goes to the browser (on the phone) and doesn't log in to the app. Chrome thinks I'm trying to log in from a PC... I reinstalled the app, deleted the data and cache - it didn't help.
