<p>👉 This article applies to all TeamViewer customers with an Enterprise/Tensor license.</p><p><br></p><h3></h3><h2 data-id="audit-trails-and-compliance">Audit trails and compliance</h2><p>To support audit trails as well as optional documentation of internal and external compliance processes a comprehensive logging is used to support you with this. </p><p>TeamViewer Tensor allows companies to opt in and out any time to collect a log of all relevant actions (who, what, when, where) during remote control sessions and for activities performed at the management console level with reports only visible to authorized users.</p><p>That means, the auditability feature provides you with information necessary for your audits and protects your business against abusive claims by showing the track of activities.</p><p>You can also read all data via <a href="https://www.teamviewer.com/en/for-developers/#api-documentation-section" rel="nofollow noreferrer ugc">REST API</a> from TeamViewer and export it into another system (e.g. SIEM).</p><p>⚠<strong>Important</strong>: Auditability is implemented in a way that allows you to fully comply with GDPR while using the feature. Be aware that in order to be fully compliant, your use of Auditability needs to be reflected in your Records of Processing Activities.
