Deleted an account and can't add another one with the same email address

Hi everyone.  I created an account for one of my employee's, and then a short while later (half an hour maybe) deleted it, and now (an hour later) I want to re-add it but everytime I try I get a message stating that the email address is already in use. 

The employee didn't sign up or click the link to activate his account.  Anyone know if I just need to wait a day for the ability to add him back in or is something else going on?

Hi,

I'm new to TV and have been setting it up for use in a medium sized business.

I created an account using an email address, and then deleted it. I tried to create a new account using the same email address but am getting the message "This e-mail address is already in use".

Any help gratefully received.
