MacBook cannot key log in password on remote machine

Hi all

Am having a major issue with Teamviewer. Please can someone advise

I've been using Teamviewer to remotely access my home MacBook Pro whenever I am overseas at work (via office MacBook). I've never encountered this issue of late, I cannot key in my lof in password to my home MacBook during remote session. It only works when someone at home near my home Macbook wakes the laptop. This has never happened before. Please help. 

FYI both macbooks are 2017n models and running the latest Mac OS
