Version 14.2.8352 for Mac: can't remote control anymore after update

Hello, I recently started having trouble with TeamViewer after updating the client computer's software to the latest version. This is Mac to Mac, both computers have TeamViewer 14.2.8352 installed.

When I attempt to remote into the host, I'm not prompted with any alerts telling me that there is an issue with remotely controlling the computer, but I simply cannot.

I've made sure that the host computer's security settings allow TeamViewer.

And by all indication, I should be able to remotely control that computer.

Why is this suddenly happening? What can I do to fix it?
