When you open File Transfer, Teamviewer scans and lists the contents of the default folder at both ends.  While scanning, Teamviewer freezes.  If there are many items in one or both folders, that freeze can last a long time or even crash Teamviewer.  I suggest you empty those folders at both ends before opening File Transfer.  It appears the default folder is always "Downloads", but I'm not 100% sure.

  • I am having issues when tranfering files, especially those greater than ~15mb or more than one at time.  My test was with an 87mb zip file. At first it allows it, then the whole session crashes.  I have sucessfully transfered small ones, so I don't think it has to do with the file type.   I have attached some details about my setup and a cleanedup section on the guest logs.
