Linux Release Notes

Hi, I'm using Teamviewer 14.6.13 on opensSuse Tumbleweed.

First of all, let me say THANK YOU for updating (at last!) the linux zypper repository.

I'd like to point out that presently (and it has been so for months) the "Release notes" menu choice points to this url:

https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Linux/Update-14-1-3399-TeamViewer-14/m-p/46523#M2644

which is badly outdated.

I think it should instead point to:

https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/forums/filteredbylabelpage/board-id/Change_Logs_EN/label-name/li...

where Linux users can find more up-to-date information.

Thank you
Cris

Re: Linux Release Notes

Hi @Cris70

Thanks for your post.

Yes - that´s a valid point. I had a chat with the Linux team earlier today and they will implement the changes. However - I can not promise when the link will be changed. It might take a while. Thanks again!

@BuKToP I checked this with the team as well and it is a bug. We are currently on 14.5.5819 and there is no 14.6 available (yet). Also no Preview (=Insider Build) in 14.6.

But the team is already working on a 14.6. and I´ll let you know once it is online in the Change Log board.

EDITSorry for the confusion! I was talking to @DanielStm and what some of you see is indeed the preview for 14.6. Things will be back to normal for RPM users once the regular 14.6 release will be out. Once again sorry for a whole series of misunderstandings!

Thanks and best,

Esther

Re: Linux Release Notes

The latest version listed on TeamViewer download page for Linux is 14.5.5819.

Strange, but my Fedora 30 is asking me to update also to 14.6.13. So which one is latest or maybe this 14.6.xx is some kind of insider preview?

Re: Linux Release Notes

Thanks, @Esther. So, what version am I actually running if I've updated and the About window is showing 14.6.13? This is on CentOS 7.6.

Hi @sethgoldin

Thanks a lot.

I edited my reply above:
