Unable to connect

I m suddenly not able to connect with my remote system. It says "unable to connect reasons unknown". I have V.13.2.7 on both the systems I have disabled auto updates on both. I cannot upgrade to the latest version because my ios version on one of my systems is 10.10.1, and the latest TV needs 10.11 and above. Updating the iOS is not an option. Any help is appreciated.
