Downgrade to v11 from v14 to restore functionality

It seems many users are experincing problems with v14 upgrades. I, myself lost functionality with mic, audio and video controls on my remote iMac. Are we allowed to downgrade to a previous version without Teamviewer support putting restrictions on older versions of Teamviewer???
