Remote program instantly ends my session when trying to connect

HI all,

I'm having an issue where I would need to send "ctrl + shift + del" to bring up a password box on the remote computer (Windows 10 x64bit) so I can enter the password to close that particular program and thus allowing me to see the desktop, etc.  Sometimes I can see the remote computer screen when I remotely connect.  Sometimes I am actually able to press  "ctrl + shift + del" and see the password box appear - but that's as far as I can get - connection closed.  If I physically walk to the machine in question and close the program manually, then go back to my computer and connect remotely - it works fine.  So, it's that program that won't let me connect.  Any ideas?
