Trust device one time only option greyed out in email

I want to use my phone to access my PC - been using my PC for several yes to assist my father remotely on his PC's. However, I don't trust phones - too easy to get stolen. So I want to trust my phone one time, each time I use it to a cess my PC. I get the email to confirm trust, and it has a drop-down for trust always, trust once, or decline. But I can't choose any option except trust always. Why?

    Hi @Rebeccah

    Thank you for your post.

Can you please send a screenshot of the Trusted Device prompt in the browser?

Normally it should work for mobile devices like for desktop computers.

Looking forward to your answer and all the best,
    Natascha

I don't know if I can capture a screenshot from the phone.  But it doesn't look any different from the PC - just that if I try to press with my finger to select one of the other two dropdown choices (Yes this IP address, or No only once - I misremembered what the choices were when I started this topic), it still selects Yes, this device.  It's really annoying.  These are screenshots from my PC (Firefox).  I can't capture the whole dropdown, just whatever choice has been selected.
