Making a remote phone call

I am trying to use the phone app on my remote Android to call a third party. Is it possible to speak and hear conversation remotely using my computer or another Android phone?

  • Ping? Any info on this? I think in late 2022 there should be a service that allows you to use your phone fully from anywhere in the world?

    Hello @Kefos11 and @bservice,

Welcome to the TeamViewer Community! ๐Ÿš€

Yes, this is possible. Let me show you how to use your phone remotely.

    On your Android phone

    1. Install TeamViewer Host
    2. Assign the Android phone to your TeamViewer account

    On your computer

    1. Install TeamViewer (for Windows, macOS, or Linux)
    2. Go to the Computers & Contacts list and double-click on your Android device. ๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Unattended access is not compatible with some Android devices, so someone might need to confirm the connection on the Android phone by clicking "Allow".
    3. You are now connected to your Android phone and can perform any action remotely, like a phone call.

Let me know if this has worked for you!

  • Hi JeanK

I can make phone calls but nothing is heard on the laptop.

  • @JeanK, as @FlaviuCristian said, this only initiates a phone call on the mobile device but it doesn't route the sound (speaker + mic) through the PC app. So if the phone is elsewhere, you can't really use it to make phone calls. Any workaround for this?
