Incoming connections are logged for users, and it is possible to see what computer the user is accessing, but is it also possible to monitor the Teamviewer ID of the actual source where the user is located?

I have several users logging in with the same Teamviewer-username.

I can monitor when this Teamviewer-username access ComputerA remotely.

Is it possible to monitor the Teamviewer ID of the Teamviewer console where the user is physically sitting?

    Hi mLipok

Sorry if this is off topic, what is the right group to ask this question?

It might sound strange to you, but I still would like to know if it is possible to identify the Teamviewer ID of the client that is accessing my machines.

Hej Morten - I moved your post in the TeamViewer Category 👍

Did you check the incoming_connections.txt on the remote device?

No, I did not know about the incoming_connections.txt file. I will check this.

Do you know if it is possible to get this info in the administrator web tool?

It is saved locally in the TeamViewer folder.

Personally, I am not too sure whether it is in the MCO (=Management Console), too, but maybe one of our experts knows more. @JeanK Do you know whether we can get the TeamViewer ID of an incoming connection within the MCO?

As far as I remeber well.....

I think it is possible to get information about all incoming sesions/connection to the remote DEVICE with Corporate license.

But if I'm right it require that the remote DEVICE must have assigned licence on the remote DEVICE.

As for now I do not think that @MortenRud think about such solution ?

    Hi @JeanK and @Esther

I have the "Log sessions for connection reporting" activated for the user. And I can see outgoing connections in the "User Report"

But the only information I can see here is:

    -User

    -Computer(that is being accessed)

-ID(of the computer that is being accessed)

    -Session type

    -Start

    -Duration

    I am missing

-ID of the TeamViewer that is establishing the connection

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi @JeanK and @Esther

Hi, I found it. I had to create and deploy a policy for this to work.

    Thanks for all your help.
