Error: Unknown Reason ... cant' connect

Dear Community,

I'm trying to access remotely my Mac Mini but after installing Teamviewer in both machines, i have the following error message: Error Unknown Reason.

My objective is to leave my MacMini setup at home and remote access via my laptop or iPhone12 when traveling. Suggestions are welcome.

What I have:

From:

Macbook Pro (remote device)

OS X El Capitain 10.11.6

Iphone 12

To:

MacMini (based device to be connected to)

OS X Lion 10.7.5

Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Your MacMini is too old to use the free version of TeamViewer. It only supports TeamViewer up to version 11. See our article here:

The free version only works with the latest TeamViewer version on both ends.
