Sign In request failed! Replaced my mom's PC

When I try to sign in (first time on this machine) I get this error:

Sign In request failed! The server did not respond. Please try again.

I checked status.teamviewer.com and all is green there.

I checked and I am running the latest version.

I restarted the computer and that did not help.

Any suggestions?

This issue is resolved...mysteriously.
