We were looking to get rid of unattended access passwords on all of our machines and just use windows authentication. How does TeamViewer know who is an admin and who is not? Does it talk directly with our domain controller? Or does it look in the Local users and Groups on the machine your remoting into, to look for admins?

What you could do is deploying an "empty" unattended access password via the .tvopt file.
