Two-factor authentication possible?

I currently have a list of client machines I connect to to do remote support, and am set up such that the password to their machines is embedded/saved with their TV ID and other info. It's a bit dangerous in modern times, as I figure hackers can write a bot that tries all teamviewer IDS sequentially, and once it detects a TV client, start a dictionary attack agains them to gain access.

So I would like to implement 2-factor authentication if possible, ie if I try to connect to one of my clients, I get a SMS on my phone asking me to confirm. Is this functionality available?

Currently, it is not possible to connect via Two-Factor-Authentication to a computer.

@Eskimo it is possible to set up Two-Factor-Authentication on your TeamViewer account when signing into the software.

However, it is not possible to connect via Two-Factor-Authentication to a computer, which is how I understood and answered your question.

If you meant from the beginning How to enable Two-Factor-Authentication on your TeamViewer account, then sorry that was my mistake and you found the correct article to it. 😊

It is working well to connect to my supporter session, which is half the battle. Would still think it would be a useful feature if same could be set up to the clients I connect to to improve security.

I would like to officially make this enhancement request.

Any suggestions on how best to secure all my client machines if someone hacks my own TV account and gets access to them?

Hey! I just was looking at my profile, thinking that I should start by changing my TV password for my own account difficult to guess, and I came across the link to "Manage two factor authentication". And you say there is no such thing presently?
