Trying the free version. I need to access a computer running XP. After downloaded the free version, we are getting errors to update to the latest version. From memory, the version shown is 14 something. The computer I am trying to access from is a Surface Pro 7 with version 15 something. Not working. However, my website guys are able to access the XP computer. I actually went and manually installed version 14 something on the Surface and still failed. Any suggestions? Much appriciated.

Connecting to a Windows XP is, unfortunately, not possible using the free version.

If you are using the free version, you must update your TeamViewer clients to the latest version.

However, the latest version is now compatible with Windows XP.
