I am a single one time license purchaser of TeamViewer product. The up-tic in video platform usage during Covid-19 is evident in Teamviewer's and, of course, Zoom's success. I'm reaching out to media outlets team viewer business associates and traditional media, as well as industry leaders like one drive Google Drive, dropbox. PayPal & Apple to share my experience of being a victim of TeamViewer is predatory rollover subscription practices. In May of 2021 I can track it is severe respiratory Covid related illness which required three weeks of hospitalization one week of ventilation. Upon getting out of the hospital I discovered a notice from my bank of being charged $980 for original contract that consisted only of $555. It's obvious, due to my hospitalization that I was outside of the end-user license agreement. I contacted Aleyne [personal information removed per Community Guidelines] and explain this problem with the subscription rollover. Not only was I greeted with an atmosphere of un~cooperation I was told that there was nothing that could be done.
I am making an attempt to appeal to as many media outlets and any in-house advisory committee members as well as top corporate management/ executives do review and implement alternative strategies so these kinds of predatory practices are we considered in the interest of business relationships.
I will be forwarding a press release as well as documents related to this systemic problem one in which teamviewer is at the forefront.
