Access Control - Wait for your partner to confirm?

I use TeamViewer to remotely access and control (with password) Windows 10 PCs from a Windows 10 PC. Lately, I have been seeing some instances where remote control was not allowed once connected. Now I'm seeing an access control box telling me to wait for my partner to confirm the request. This is not how I set up TeamViewer... I've been able to access it just fine in the past with full remote control. Nothing I know of has changed in the environment. Is this an update bug? If anyone has a solution for this, it would be greatly appreciated. I pay for a subscription and would like to use the software as intended. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!

Access Control affects both how you control other devices, and how other devices control yours.

In the TeamViewer Advanced settings on each device, there are two settings categories: Advanced settings for connections to this computer and Advanced settings for connections to other computers

In both locations, you will find an option for Access Control. This should be set to Full Access for both devices and both settings.

More than likely, one of the two devices settings were accidentally changed.
