Windows keeping locking the screen

I have set the Advance options 'Lock Remote computer" to Never

but when I disconnect from the remote windows machine the screen still goes to the Lock Screen.

Hello @JasonMISC,

The "Lock Remote Computer" option only works when you are connected to TeamViewer. As soon as the connection is disconnected, the system's own power options are prioritized again.

Simply adjust the power plan, and you should be good to go.

Hi Justin,

it you mean the option to never lock or set the screen to screen saver I have set then both to never too?

is there another power mode option?

Does that problem occur on your private device or a company device?

If it appears to be a company one, there might be a chance that those options are not allowed to be changed by employees. So you might need to talk to your IT department and clarify that.

no its a normal install not a corporate install.

The strange thing is this did work I have the REG set to no lock and the team viewer options set and the power modes set to off

but after to disconnect with team viewer that dam windows machine goes to the Lock Screen ;o(

Let's get some things out of the way that could be a reason for that.

You should check the sleep timeout settings, screen timeout settings, and the screensaver
Try disabling the Dynamic Lock, you can find that by simply typing it in the windows search bar.
Disable the Screensaver - You can do that by typing "Screensaver" in the search bar, click on Change Screensaver. In the dropdown menu, check if it is set to "Blank". If yes, change it to None.
Change the systems unattended sleep timeout - you can do that as show in the picture below:
