Hello,

Since two days, when I try to connect to my remote PC, I get a message saying that I have to wait the confirmation on the remote device. This has never happened... If I try to connect from the same machine but with another user, it works without confirmation. What happenned ?

Thanks for help !

Daniel

    Hello @gnerred,

You might have turned off your easy access.

Please go ahead and activate your unattended access again, here is an article on how to do it:

Tell me if that helped you.

    Hi @Justin

Thanks for answer. I've activated easy access, but the problem is not solved, I still get this popup.

What is strange, is that I havn't this issue when connecting from another Windows user on the same device (and so the same Teamviewer installation) ! Any other idea ?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi @gnerred,

You're connecting from a different user profile, but from the same machine? Are you logged in with the same account while trying to connect?

Let me know, so I can assist you further.

    Hi @Justin

Yes I'm on Windows 10, and connecting from 2 different user profiles. With one it's OK, with the other I get the confirmation message.

Yes I am connected with the same Teamviewer account.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi @gnerred

thank you for your posts and details.

Could you please check if your partner, did activate TFA in the device you are trying to connect to? More information here

If yes, this would explain why you see the message

Thanks in advance for your feedback

    Thanks @AlenaC for feedback.

    No TFA isn't activated.

As said : " I'm on Windows 10, and connecting from 2 different user profiles. With one it's OK, with the other I get the confirmation message." If TFA was activated, I would have problems connecting from both users, no ?

    Best regards,

    Daniel

Please also send me in a private message your email address and these IDs

    Thanks in advance

    Hi @AlenaC ,

As already said, they are only 2 devices :

    • Client PC, from wich I try to connect to remote PC : Windows 10 21H1, Teamviewer 15.18.5. With user A, I can connect. With user B, I cannot connect, I get the confirmation message. User B is a Microsoft user. User A is a local user. With user B, I've been able to connect for several years. The issue appeared from on day to another.
    • Remote PC, on which I want to connect : Windows 10 1809, Teamviewer 15.19.3

I send you my email and IDs in a private message.

Thanks for help and best regards,

    Daniel
