In my company we prep several computers before distributing them to the field. Recently, I sent out 4 computers and all of them had TV enabled with windows set when they left my office. They had restarted several times while doing windows updates and the setting kept every time. Then, when plugged into power on in the field, they no longer have this setting saved. The end users for these computers do not have admin level pw, so it's impossible for them to change the settings.
Is there a windows update or TV update or does the PC being powered down for an extended amount of time affect this setting in any way? This is starting to be more widespread but these are the only cases I can absolutely confirm.
