The TeamViewer ID you have entered does not exist

I have TeamViewer version 15.20.6 - 64 bit running on my home PC (Windows 10) in host mode.

I have a Windows 10 laptop on the desk next to it and can connect to the PC over a LAN.

I want to use a different laptop (not at the same time) running Linux (Zorin 15 - 32 bit) using the same TV ID for the host but I get the "ID does not exist" message whenever I click connect. The laptop is running version 15.20.6 of TeamViewer.

Should this mix work and if so why doesn't it.
