I live in Shanghai, China. Here, the internet is quite fast *as long as you stay within China*. Accessing servers outside of China will often come with a huge latency/performance hit.
When using teamviewer, and monitoring the logfile, i've seen that teamviewer will always connect to a man-in-the-middle server. This man-in-the-middle server always seems to be picked random; and does not seem to change often, once teamviewer has found one.
When it's using a server within China, the connect is fast, responsive, very good. However when it decided to use a server right outside of China, for example Singapore, the connection is average/poor.
For me it makes a huge difference in how fast I can perform my daily work. Unfortunately I have no control in how teamviewer is selecting this inbetween router.
Does anyone else have any idea's how I can force teamviewer to keep using servers WITHIN China?
