Can I view a separate (open and running) program on my second monitor?

I can't find an answer to this seemingly easy question, so maybe I'm not using the right words. On my desktop PC, I have two programs open. I need to view both as full screen. One is a music creation DAW (Ableton), and the other is Vmix, a video recording software.

So I'm trying to get Teamviewer to display Vmix on my second monitor (an old laptop) while I have the DAW on my main screen PC. This way I can see which cameras are in use on Vmix, but still monitor Ableton.

Is Teamviewer the answer?

I did read this before posting. Can I assume the simple answer is No? I don't have multiple monitors.
