Access from Tablet to my PC via Easy Access

Hi!

On my PC I've assigned my PC to my account; disabled random password; disabled personal password; set the allow list to just me; and activated Easy Access.

On my Android tablet I've signed in with my account and set up TFA.

When I try and connect to my PC from the tablet, it asks for a password? What password can that be as I've disabled them all. Shouldn't Easy Access just let me in (after TFA) since I'm signed into the Remote Control app as me?

Thanks for your reply.

I am using the same credentials on both. I don't wish to use a password to log on - I'm using Easy Access. Does the Android app support that?

Thank you for your response.

Would you kindly to try the following process please?

On PC side

Sign in your account on the device (PC)
Go to Computers & Partners -> click human icon and then Add remote computer
Pop-up windows comes up, please type TeamViewer ID and Alias (device name) and click OK

On Android side

Sign in with your TeamViewer account.
Please click human icon instead of two arrows.
Tap two arrows which shows next to the registered remote device.

The PC bit says it is already added. When I select the entry on the Android as you've described (under "My Computers" where it shows as online), it asks for my "partner's password". I've confirmed it's showing the same ID as TeamViewer on my PC. Below the "Remote Control" button on the Android it says "Using password" in small grey characters.

On my PC, Random Password is set to "Disabled (no random password)", Windows Logon is set to "Not allowed", Easy Access is ticked, Personal Password (both fields) is blank. The Account Name and Email are the same between Teamviewer on the PC and where visible in the Settings of the Android app.

Where else can I check? Thanks!

Thank you for your response.

As long as your TeamViewer account is assigned to the remote device (PC), you can access to the device without password.

Please confirm that you've checked the Grant easy access box after account assignment on the PC.

Once it has checked, please try the connection via Computers and Contacts from the tablet.

Please ensure to use the same TeamViewer account credential for easy access set up and sign in on the tablet.

If you cannot connect to the PC without password, please kindly reply this message with a screenshot of error message (or the screenshot of the password confirmation page).

Sorry for the confusion.

For grant easy access, signing in with your TeamViewer account requires only on local device (on tablet).

Which means you don't need to sign in on the remote device all the time, except the initial setting up for easy access.
