TeamViewer Portable Win XP

Hello everyone,
We are using TeamViewer Portable as a remote backup connection on some computers. The systems are running Win XP and will not be replaced by newer PCs in the near future.
Now for my question, the latest portable version is no longer compatible with Win XP, does anyone have an idea how to get it to work there or is that not possible?
