I have two 2021 Acer 713 Spins and I've set both up with the full free TeamViewer, I've also tried QuickSupport and Host.
Full TeamViewer to TeamViewer: I get a message on the remote machine upon connection "Start recording or cast with Host: Host will have the access to...[insert security warning]". Once I click "Start now" from the remote machine, on the remote controlling machine I get nothing but a black screen with the menu button in the bottom right
Full TeamViewer to QuickSupport: Very similar experience only the message about what the connecting machine will have access to is only referring to QuickSupport instead of Host.
If I open the Host app on the remote machine it is the only thing I can see from the remote controlling machine. Nothing but black otherwise and no task bar across the bottom or ability to open apps. I can however manipulate the Host app on the remote machine but that's really it.
TeamViewer Version: 15.21.121 CL
Host Version: 15.21.111 HM
Chrome OS Version 93.0.4577.85 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Really sorry if this is a noob question but I use TeamView in a Windows environment everyday and have never had such difficulty. All help and ideas welcome! Thanks, Wes
