I have an older CNC machine (approx 2001) in my shop that is running on a PC with the Windows 10 Pro software. In the past I have used TeamViewer to allow access for the technician's to log into my PC to monitor, repair and modify my machine.
In a recent attempt to do so the remote technician could not connect because my version of TeamViewer was out of date (version 12 I believe). The support team for this machine is using TeamViewer 15, and that is the only software they can use to access the remote machines. When I tried to update to version 14 I get a error when I run the exe file from the download (kernel missing).
Unfortunately the machine control system was developed to run only on this operating system and so updating to a newer PC or operating system is not an option.
Is there some method or work around where I can use the operating system and hardware and still be able to connect to TeamViewer 15 or later versions.
Hoping for a miracle here.
