purchased TeamViewer and have downloaded activated and still telling me i can't get access

If you have successfully activated the license with TeamViewer, kindly sign in the licensed account on TeamViewer client and check on TeamViewer -> Help -> About TeamViewer -> License, it will show the license status.

error message your account is currently assigned to a company
as a result, you cannot activate a remote access license on it please use another account for the activation ?

Please understand that TeamViewer Remote Access license can not used with the feature of company profile.
I hope it is an easy fix in your case by deleting the company profile on TeamViewer Management Console.
Kindly try the steps below:
1) login your TeamViewer account on TeamViewer Management Console - https://login.teamviewer.com/LogOn
2) select User management on the left hand side panel, and please remove users if there is any users in the company profile; then remove your own account to delete the company profile.

3) follow the steps mention in the first post to activate the license with your TeamViewer account.
