I also cannot locate the "Extras" so I cannot connect to the iPad from another computer.
Thank you for helping.
Hello @fgibou
Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!
Connections to iOS devices do not use a password to connect - instead, a connection prompt is sent to the iOS device when the TeamViewer ID is entered from the computer. You can find more information on how to share your screen on iOS in our article here, but let's discuss a bit of the steps below 😁
First, please be aware there are two TeamViewer apps in the App Store - QuickSupport, which is for incoming connections, and TeamViewer Remote Control, which is for outgoing connections. Let's make sure the QuickSupport app is installed and open on the iPad you wish to connect to.
Next, make sure that Screen Recording has been added to the iPad's Control Center. This is done in the iOS settings of the iPad:
Once this is done, you are all set to connect! Simply enter the TeamViewer ID displayed in the QuickSupport app in the Partner ID field on the computer, and the connection prompt will appear on the iPad.
Let me know if this helped get you connected to your iPad! You should have no issues afterwards 😎
