I can not change contact group some customers because of a message outdated version

There was an error rendering this rich post.

I want to change contact group some customers. But when i try to change contact group. It shows a message "The device "SomeCustomer" is running on an outdated version of teamviewer. In order to move this device, please update it to the latest version of Teamviewer".

These servers i wan to move are offline and i can not currently update the software.

What can i do to fix this problem of the annoying message?

Ps.I am a paid customer.

I do not understand, what issues? These are some entries in the database.

Every time i must delete and add again? This is your solution?

Also i found in the forum artcles that other customers have this problem since October 2021.

Hello @maxcomgr,

Indeed, if the version is "too old", you might have issues when moving the device from one group to another.

For this device, I recommend deleting it and adding it back again.

Make sure to access the properties and save the TeamViewer ID somewhere before deleting the computer.

The technical background is a little more complex than that - I can't go into too many details as it is not my area of knowledge, but I asked a developer and the person told me that with old devices this might happen.

You can prevent this from happening by keeping the clients up-to-date.
