Remote multitasking in one system - multiple interacting apps

Hi,

this may not be a TeamViewer question as I'm just finding out here, but it is et least related imo and perhaps someone here can point me in the right direction.

Here is my "remote/multitasking problem":

I'm streaming small church's services. This means

a) OBS studio

b) Song presentation app

c) Mixing app

etc.

That is way too much for one person to handle. So I'm thinking: let's delagate! One person is mixing, another one is managing the presentation, yet another one is responsible for the stream.

How do I do that? How can multiple people (preferably remotely) handle one system, multiple apps that need to interact? Any standard/obvious/creative solutions?

The TeamViewer connections are end-to-end encrypted, and it isn't possible to create a virtualization of the partner device.

In other words: it is possible to have multiple people connecting to the same device; however, they will be disputing to use the same mouse and keyboard to control it.

👉 If you have the programs in different devices, you would be able to have your employees connecting on the designated computer to work on it remotely.

Thank you for clearing up, that TeamViewer is not the tool for this specific problem.

I'm not sure I'm getting the 👉️ point entirely. I need the presentation program to run in the same environment as the streaming program, so that I can show the presentation in the room as well as stream it. At the same time, I'd like to have two people assigned for the two jobs.

I think I need to find the relevant community for the best-practices tips for this

TeamViewer is famous for the Remote Control, but it also offer the Meeting feature.

With TeamViewer Meeting you can invite multiple participants to see your screen during an online presentation. It's also possible to give the participants the mouse, so they can control your device (similar to a classroom where the teacher can give the student the marker to write on the whiteboard).

However, it's important to point out that during a TeamViewer Meeting presentation, if you are sharing your screen, no other device can remote connect to your computer using the Remote Control. You would need to stop the screen share, or close the presentation completely to have someone remote connecting to your device. And if you have 2 people remote connecting to you at the same time, they will need to take turns to control the mouse.

👉 TeamViewer is an excellent remote control tool, but it doesn't provide virtualization of the device. TeamViewer only reproduces the existing screen, mouse and keyboard.
