I have been receiving an "Account assignment failed due to an unknown error" every time I try to assign a computer to my account. I click on Grant Easy Access, enter my account email and password, and click on the Assign button. The Assign button disables itself then after about a half-minute or so the Error modal pops up with the generic error message.
I tried restarting the computer and I tried installing the TeamViewer client on a different computer and assigning that computer. I keep getting the same error.
I'm running the latest versions of the clients: 15.28.9 on my Windows 10 laptop and 15.28.8 on my Macbook. I'm able to log in to my TeamViewer account and remotely access the computers using passwords (without Easy Access).
