Unable to control Samsung with mouse from Mac

I am unable to control my elderly relatives Samsung Tab A on Android 7 or a new A53 phone from Mac Mini with Monterey. QuickSuppprt on the Samsungs. I can see screen and use keyboard on the Mac but no mouse control. Oddly no problems if I use an iPadPro to control the Samsungs but that is touchscreen not mouse. Latest TEamviwer. Any ideas? An older TV 15.5 on a MacBook Pro has full mouse control?

We opened a ticket for this issue 3 months ago… TeamViewer acknowledged the problem but they fixed it only with version 15.31.5 that has been released today.

For the records, it was still possibile to have the clicks working by detaching the device window from the TeamViewer main window using the button with the square and an arrow coming out.
