I am unable to access the privacy settings on some Apple laptops when connected via a current version of Team viewer, happens on various OSX version including the latest (12.4.0)

Works fine when on the device but not remotely Team Viewer Desktop has all the required preference settings

I have wiped one computer and reinstalled the OS still will not work

Spent a long time talking to Apple about this problem the upshot was that they decided it was probably a Team Viewer issue and they professed never to have heard of TeamViewer.

Long story short the problem was caused by using the alt key to select a # not using the alt key or any special symbols allows TeamViewer to open the padlock on the Privacy settings on a remote computer.

Very strange that it only affects a handful of the computers I manage.
