team viewer are of the same version yet it tells me its not both are running 12.0.259192
Both devices have the SAME VERSION!!!!! Why do I have to troubleshoot this **bleep**? Both have 12.0.259192. Both machines are TRUSTED. Yes I have uninstalled it and re installed. Tell me something NEW

I get this either direction/connection, PC to MAC MAC to PC, PC to PC ALL with the same version. Oh! they can all connect to the host just not to this new laptop.

💡 I think I found the solution to your problem.
As you using TeamViewer 12, the activation process was different back then.
You need to activate locally your license on the local or on the remote computer (but at least on one of them).
To activate locally your license on your device, please follow this procedure:
Now, your license is activated on your device, and the version out-of-date message should be gone. ✔

2019 is when i bought this service. For the life of me I can't find my registration key/email with that info
Your license key is crucial information you absolutely need to have to guarantee a well-functioning TeamViewer 12 license.
I recommend calling our customer support and requesting a copy of your invoice, so you can activate your license as I explained above.

If both are running 12.0.259192 it and it still gives you an error message, we can maybe call it a bug.
I would recommend reinstalling version 12.0.259192 on both devices and checking if it works.
