I know the title is not fair, but I'm in no mood to give Team Viewer the benefit of the doubt.

I used to help my Mom no problem over a remote connection - but for the last couple years, it's been IMPOSSIBLE to connect (I try once every few months, same issues, then give up). Authenticating, authenticating - with NO ERROR MESSAGE (which would be a lot of help).

By the way, why is there no "connection issues" posting category? Isn't that THE biggest issue?

Two Windows 10 computers, fast connections, blah blah blah. Clean installs, firewall changes (software and hardware), etc etc. I'd rate my experience with computers as about 7 out of 10 (I'm the one everyone asks for help), yet...

I've spent hours and hours trying to get a connection going - researching researching - right now I don't even want to talk about it - just to say that Team Viewer is INFURIATING to get working (when it used to be so easy? )
