Actually, two questions....
I use TV (very successfully I might add!) to support my customers.
I am the only employee that needs this access now, but as our company (Simultaneous Solutions, Inc. DBA SIMSOL Software) support crew goes, multiple access will be required.
So, I've been using it for free for the last month or two, but want to pay for the service. Given the information above (our corp uses one copy (at the moment), i have customers download a copy, connect, and support them (maybe only once, but it makes it easier if they have another issue!).
question #1: what type of account should i sign up for (i don't use it to control any other corporate (office or home) assets, just customer support)?
Question 2 (first time this happened): i have the 64 bit verion on my windows system. My customer downloaded and installed the 32 bit verion (unknown to me!). When I tried to connect, TV told me that my customer was not using the newest verion, have them update. They did that, i tried to reconnect, same message. I then updated to the latest version, tried again, same message; As far as I know, she is on a windows 11 system (should have downloaded 64 bit version?). Since we both had the latest, everything i read says they should have been able to connect. I left her instructions to uninstall the 32 bit, and reinstall the 64 bit, make sure latest. I will not be able to try to connect until tomorrow, but was having the 32 bit version on her windows 11 machine the problem (just getting out in front when I call back tomorrow). I assume this because the docs all say 64 bit should connect to 32 bit (so a 64 bit OS running the 32 bit TV seemed like the obvious issue.
Thoughts?
Thanks, Frank
