Hello TeamViewer Community!
I recently started using TeamViewer at my job to enable myself remote access to my working pc so I can access it from home on my personal PC.
My working PC is using Ubuntu while my personal PC is on Windows 10.
The problem is every time I try to start TeamViewer (or even it's installer) I get an error message:
"Your organization used Windows Defender Application Control to block this app"
This is very annoying as the only way for me to use TeamViewer now is to restart my PC in advanced boot mode and then chose "Disable driver signature enforcement". After that I can use TeamViewer normally but this is problematic as it requires me to restart my PC each time.
I tried every single solution on the internet and tried every method of turning off this driver signature enforcement (such as executing "bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on" command in command prompt) but with no luck. Booting in "Disable driver signature enforcement" is the only thing that works for me.
I read this is because TeamViewer is still unsigned for Windows 10. Is this true and is there a permanent fix without the need for restarting?
EDIT: I got the installation from the official site and even tried to install it via Windows Store but I got same problems.
