previously when team viewer was installed the device hostname would automatically appear in out teamviewer consoles. How do I re-nable this and move current clients to our tenant?

If you want that the Host you installed is added to your Computers and Contacts list, you need to assign the device to your account.

You can also bulk-assign devices in a .msi deployment context.
