    Hello @JeanK!

Some devices we did the update without any problems. In some others we deleted all the Teamviewer Windows key registries and the installation worked.

We didn't get any error messages that could be useful for an investigation.

    Thank you again!

    Hello @Isaiah_Chavez,

Great to see you posting for the first time!

To run the Windows October 2020 Update (20H2) version, it is required to run at least TeamViewer 15.11.

Therefore, it is expected that at some point, TeamViewer 12 is no longer compatible with this Windows 10 version.

I hope I could at least give you enough background information to understand the issue.

  • Hi @JeanK ,

Is there any outlook of Teamviewer about fixing this issue or we do have to update to 15.11 version? We use a corporate version to manage a considerable number of devices in LATAM.

    Thanks

    Wilson.

    Hi @wmorrone,

I assume there is no outlook to fix this issue, as TeamViewer 12 is no longer compatible with this Windows 10 version.

The best option would be to update to the latest TeamViewer version. 🙂

  • Hi @JeanK,

Thanks for replying to my post!

We're trying to update some devices, but we're still having trouble connecting to them. We connected over LAN connection using VNC to update Teamviewer, however when we tried to open the updated Teamviewer executable it didn't work. Have you also faced this problem?

PS. We uninstall the older version before installing the newer one.

    Thanks,

    Wilson

    Hi @wmorrone,

So far, we do not have any installation issue reports regarding KB5015807 - 20H2 when trying to install the latest version.

Are you receiving a specific error message?
