Hello. I am trying to connect from my computer to a remote computer using (free) TeamViewer. This is a connection I have successfully made many times previously, so I know it works. Although today I am in a unique situation and am seeking your help!
From my computer, I connect to the remote computer and I am prompted with a password pop-up. Does that imply that team viewer is open/running on the remote computer?
If the answer to the above question is yes, then, is there a way to access the remote computer without a TeamViewer password? Even an administrative/backdoor method by TeamViewer support?
If (by chance) I were to gain access to the remote computer via TeamViewer, would is drop me at the Windows login screen or at the (logged in) desktop?
Unfortunately, the user at the remote computer (my grandfather) locked their Windows 10 OS and they do not remember the password, therefor they cannot give me the TeamViewer password as we normally do.
Any insight would be appreciated - thanks.
Craig
