Teamviewer not allowing remote connection - Invalid password

Hi there, i have Teamviewer installed on my new Dell Laptop windows 11, signed in & activated.. however no one can connect to it remotely, ID & password are correct but keep saying the password is invalid.. tried to uninstalled Teamviewer & reinstalled with no luck..

Please help! 🙂 thank you

If you are using a personal password, kindly check if the CapsLock is on.

If you are using a random password, please try generating a new password and try a remote connection using the new password.

If the issue persists, please tell us how you connect to the device e.g. via the Computers & Partners list or via the Remote control tab.

Yes was using a personal password, removed it same issue - reinstalled application, tried without signing in as well no luck.. From the laptop i can connect remotely to others - but from another computer i cannot connect to the laptop.

May I ask when you uninstalled the TeamViewer application, did you remove the TeamViewer settings?

If the answer is yes, could you please try using a random password to establish the connection to see if this works?

If the answer is no, would you mind uninstalling TeamViewer from your windows device again, please?
