I suddenly am not able to connect remotely. I get the "initializing display" message on my screen, and then it just times out vs. connecting.
I have just updated to the latest version as well and still have the same issue.

My first recommendation would be to restart the TeamViewer serviceΒ on your computer.
If this does not solve the issue, you will also need to restart the TeamViewer service on the remote computer.

Thank you. I have restarted TeamViewer on my side. If I cannot connect to the remote computer, I cannot restart it unfortunately.
Can you ask someone to do it for you? The bug seems to be on the remote computer.
that didn't work for me.
I can connect from desktop to laptop (easy access) but not from laptop to desktop ? On the laptop, the connect button is grayed out.

If the Connect button is greyed out, the best option is to reinstall the program fully and make sure you delete the registry key entries when uninstalling.
